Associate Sustainability Consultant\n\nLocation: London\n\nSalary: £55,000 plus DOE\n\nJoin one of the UK’s leading sustainable consultancy firms as an Associate Sustainability Consultant in London. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team that delivers dynamic and environmentally conscious solutions for the built environment.\n\nThe firm is renowned for its multi-disciplinary approach, offering expertise across acoustics, building services, sustainability, and more. With an impressive track record, they are looking for someone who is passionate about sustainability, has experience leading teams, and is adept at delivering high-quality projects.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\n\nLead the delivery of large-scale projects with some of the most innovative clients in the industry.\n\nTake ownership of developing and mentoring junior team members.\n\nLead environmental assessments (BREEAM, WELL, HQM) from the initial stages all the way through to completion.\n\nConduct detailed modelling and analysis, including embodied carbon, circular economy opportunities, building performance, and overheating.\n\nRun workshops with clients and design teams, sharing your sustainability expertise.\n\nEnsure that project teams meet client expectations and deliver high-quality results on time.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\nStrong knowledge of Building Regulations Part L (Elmhurst, IES) and Net Zero carbon strategies.\n\nExperience in conducting thermal comfort and overheating assessments.\n\nAbility to support and produce planning applications.\n\nAt least 7–8 years of experience in sustainability consulting, ideally in the built environment.\n\nA genuine passion for sustainability and its application within the built environment.\n\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills.\n\nProven experience in managing teams and driving projects towards successful completion.\n\nBenefits:\n\nHybrid working options for flexibility and work-life balance.\n\nOpportunity to work on exciting, large-scale projects with industry-leading clients.\n\n9-day fortnight scheme, giving you extra time off.\n\nAccess to social and networking events to connect with like-minded professionals.\n\nPrivate medical cover for peace of mind.\n\nStock options to make you feel part of the company’s success.\n\nGenerous annual leave to ensure you have time to recharge.\n\nIf you’re looking to take your career to the next level in a company that’s shaping the future of sustainability, we’d love to hear from you!\n\nPlease reach out to Katie Davison at Aztrum for a private and confidential conversation
