Associate Scientist/Scientist in San Diego

This Associate Scientist in molecular assay development will work with a group of scientists to develop and validate laboratory-developed clinical diagnostics in our clinical laboratories. Understanding of the biology of cancer and low frequency variant detection is a plus. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic R&D team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manufacture PCR reagents, run PCR based QC tests, write SOP

- Work closely with scientific, analytical, engineering, and commercial teams to develop, transfer, and sustain new molecular assay products.

REQUIREMENTS:

- B.S. in Molecular Biology, Genetics or related field and 2+ years' laboratory experience.

- Experience with real time PCR assay

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Highly motivated, detailed individual with the proven ability to think innovatively toward solving problems effectively and efficiently

- Bilingual in Chinese (basic reading)
