Location: Leeds (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 DOE + bonus + benefits

Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to step into a more senior, client-facing role with real project ownership?

We're working with a leading planning and development consultancy in Leeds that is looking to bring in an ambitious and commercially minded Associate Planner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and growing team, with a strong presence across the North of England and a diverse portfolio spanning residential, mixed-use, commercial, and strategic land projects.

You'll be involved in both project delivery and business development, with a clear pathway to progress towards Director level.

The Role:

• Lead and manage planning applications, appeals, and development strategies

• Provide expert planning advice to clients across a wide range of sectors

• Oversee and mentor junior team members

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders

• Contribute to business development and support wider company growth initiatives

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• MRTPI qualified with 6+ years’ experience in planning (consultancy or local authority)

• Proven experience managing planning applications and liaising with clients

• Strong knowledge of planning policy and processes in Yorkshire and the North

• Commercially aware with excellent communication and leadership skills

• Based in or able to commute to Leeds and surrounding areas
