Job DescriptionJob Description

Provost & Pritchard is seeking qualified staff to assist in our Planning Division.  We have immediate need for assistance with our contract staffing practice, including conducting research for a variety of planning-related topics, evaluating project applications, and preparing staff reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning or related field and minimum four (4) year’s experience;
• Excellent written skills with attention to detail and ability to complete documents that are cohesive, easy to read, and demonstrate a strong command of technical information, grammar, and narrative development
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Solid working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook (Microsoft Suite)
• Demonstrated knowledge of California Planning and Zoning Law and related statutes, planning principles, and/or public agency procedures
• Basic knowledge of and experience with the California Environmental Quality Act
