Associate Hydrogeologist in Reading

A market leading multidisciplinary Consultancy, is searching for an Associate Hydrogeologist to join and manage their team. You can be based in many locations across the UK.
This can be a hybrid role and you will be required 3 days in the office.
Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in hydrology, environmental engineering or hydrogeology and experience working for a UK based Consultancy as a Hydrogeologist completing hydrogeological risk assessments, water resource assessments and/or groundwater modelling using Aquator. Overseas experience will also be considered, if you currently reside in the UK.
Candidates are required to have a keen interest in hydrogeology and water resources and a passion for innovation and data analysis.
You will also be required to have management experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage/support the existing team and liaise with clients to discuss project progress, complete proposals and develop new business opportunities.
As an Associate Hydrogeologist you will join an experienced team to complete varied hydrological, groundwater, flood risk, natural flood management, contaminated land and water resources projects for brownfield sites, new infrastructure, renewable energy, mixed-use development and quarries across the UK. You will mentor and manage team members, check, review an amend technical work and manage complex projects for private and public sector clients.
You are also expected to complete varied technical work including;
Hydrogeological risk assessments
Groundwater flow analysis and quantitative assessments.
Water resource assessments and modelling.
Groundwater monitoring using company data sensing equipment.
Data analysis of monitoring data.
Groundwater modelling using Aquator.
Water Framework Directive Assessments.
Deliver hydrogeological, hydrological and flood risk projects, ensuring client requirements are met and environmental guidelines are adhered to.
proposals and cost estimates
Liaise with Local Authorities and Regulatory Bodies to provide technical advice and environmental guidance.
Mentor and support team members and check technical work when needed.
Site visits and site walkovers.
Development of new monitoring equipment for use across projects.
