Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client, a leader in the life sciences and diagnostics industry, is looking for Associate Electrical Engineer based in Tucson, AZ.

Duration: Long term contract (Possibility of further extension)
Location: Tucson, AZ

Pay Range : $35- $40/hr on W2

We are seeking a Design Engineer to apply advanced knowledge of design principles and practices for complex systems. This role involves concept , design reviews, performance testing, reliability analysis, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of manufacturing processes and make independent decisions to address engineering challenges.


Responsibilities

  • Design & Development: Generate design concepts, participate in design reviews, and conduct performance testing to meet specifications.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in developing manufacturing processes and troubleshooting to identify root causes and engineering solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work on projects of moderate scope, participate in technical team activities, and present findings to the group.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure work meets quality standards and promote a "Quality First Time" mindset.
  • Innovation: Contribute to patentable inventions and suggest process improvements.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Education & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a directly related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience .
  • Proficiency in fundamental and some specialized engineering techniques.
  • Ability to search and analyze technical literature.
  • Skilled in using tools like word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills within defined procedures and practices.
  • Familiarity with standard practices and procedures in engineering.
