Job Description

Description Location: UK wide with occasional travel into London CHPK Fire Engineering is a leading consultancy specialising in fire safety engineering across the built environment. With a reputation for technical excellence and a client-first approach, we work across a diverse range of sectors including residential, commercial, heritage, healthcare, and high-rise developments. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and driven Associate Director to lead project delivery, manage key client relationships, and help shape the future of CHPK Fire Engineering.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a fire engineering professional who is technically strong, commercially minded, and ready to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities Lead fire engineering projects from concept through to completion Develop and review fire strategies for complex and high-profile buildings Act as primary point of contact for clients and design teams Manage and mentor junior engineers and consultants Contribute to business development and tendering Support the technical direction and commercial performance of the team Ensure compliance with current UK fire safety regulations, including BS 9999, BS 9991, and ADB Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Degree-qualified in Fire Engineering or a related field Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working toward it At least 8 years of experience in fire engineering consultancy In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations and fire codes Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills Experience working on large and complex developments Passion for mentoring and developing teams Why CHPK Fire Engineering?
