We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Demand Planner to join our growing team in Etters, PA. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and grow your career within a global organization.
Position Summary
The Associate Demand Planner will support inventory planning and forecasting activities to ensure product availability for our key customers. This position plays a vital role in maintaining our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs and supporting smooth coordination between internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
You will work closely with the Controller and operations team to track demand, analyze data, and help optimize inventory levels to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day management of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) accounts.
- Monitor inventory levels and customer forecasts to ensure materials meet production and delivery schedules.
- Support adjustments to schedules based on changing customer priorities and demand fluctuations.
- Collect and analyze product usage data to identify trends, forecast deviations, and improvement opportunities.
- Track and validate inventory transactions at customer locations for consigned products.
- Work with the sales and operations teams to initiate part number changes, additions, or removals from VMI programs.
- Generate inventory and performance reports for internal and customer use.
- Maintain strong communication with internal departments and external customers to ensure alignment of requirements and schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline .
- 1–3 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, supply chain coordination, or a related field (internships or co-ops welcome).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and general comfort with ERP or database systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience or interest in the electronics or manufacturing industry a plus.
