Talent Consultants is seeking an Associate Construction Attorney to join our growing legal team. This role will focus on representing clients in all aspects of construction law, including contract negotiation, compliance, and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in construction-related legal issues, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. As an Associate Construction Attorney, you will play a key role in advising clients on legal risks, drafting and reviewing construction contracts, and managing disputes associated with construction projects. Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts and agreements.
- Provide legal counsel to clients regarding construction law matters and compliance requirements.
- Assist in the resolution of construction disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
- Research relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards impacting construction projects.
- Support senior attorneys in managing cases and preparing for hearings or trials.
- Attend client meetings and provide updates on legal matters.
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and service.
- Stay abreast of developments in construction law and related fields.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active attorney license in the state of practice.
- 3-5 years of experience in construction law or Real Estate legal practice.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, laws, and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with litigation or dispute resolution in the construction context is a plus.
