Key Responsibilities
- Design and Drafting: Develop civil engineering designs, including utilities, water/wastewater, grading, drainage, and roadways using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation).
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, surveyors, scientists and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
- Technical Reports: Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making.
- Field Support: Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, verify design implementation, pre-design site investigations and resolve on-site issues as needed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 0–3 years of experience in civil engineering design.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation and other relevant engineering software is a plus.
- Licensing: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or a willingness to obtain it.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
