In addition, Eurofins is one of the key emerging players in specialty clinical diagnostic testing in Europe and the USA.In 2020, Eurofins generated total revenues of EUR € 5.4 billion, and has been among the best performing stocks in Europe over the past 20 years.Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateDemonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctualityDemonstrate skill in using the computer to access information, perform complex mathematical calculations and prepare reportsSet up, optimize, and calibrate ICP/ICP-MS/CVAA independentlyAnalyze samples independentlyReview, evaluate, calculate, enter, upload and verify data as requiredDocument data following SOPsPerform instrument troubleshootingPerform non routine analyses with limited supervisionPerform quantitative transfer and dilutionsRead and understand the principles of instruments used for assigned workPerform effective written and oral communication with coworkersEvaluate current analytical system performance and suggest/implement improvements to maximize quality and productivityMaintain ICP/ICP-MS/CVAA instrumentationAssist with updating SOPs as needed to ensure compliancePerform IDL, IEC, linear range, and MDL determinationsKeep individual training records updatedConducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerforms other duties as assignedRole is open on 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm. QualificationsBasic Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Biology/Industrial Hygiene/Physics or equivalent experienceAuthorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship Ideal Candidates will have: Some related experience with inductively coupled plasma techniques (ICP and ICP MS)/atomic absorption techniquesSatisfactory technical skills, including logical thinking and deductive reasoning; good work habits; clean, efficient, careful; accuracy in recording and transcribing data; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; learn new methods and techniques; self motivated to improve technical skills and operations; consciousness of and a positive attitude toward quality control and safety procedures; demonstrate versatility, efficiency, and flexibility; personal maturity and sense of responsibility; willingness to follow instructions and comply with company policies; organizational skills; some familiarity with basic statistics and chemical math; problem solving; medium to high stress level; able to retain large amounts of information; interact with others in a positive, professional mannerAdditional InformationEurofins Environment Testing Businesses in US are routinely engaged in Federal Contracts.
