Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate, Asset Management to join our GVA Asset Management (GVAAM) team. This individual will play a vital role in supporting the operational functions of GVAAM, with a focus on account openings, trading execution, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and process new account openings and custodial paperwork with precision and timeliness.
• Support daily trading activities, including trade execution, reconciliation, and confirmations.
• Assist in generating and reviewing performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across client accounts and reporting systems.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, compliance, and advisory teams.
• Provide excellent service and support to advisors and clients.
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation for scalability as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree (BA or BS) required, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong interest in investment operations and working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with data and proficient in Excel and related reporting tools.
• This is an entry-level position, but previous experience in asset management and financial advisory is a plus.
