Associate Architect - Residential & Technical Expertise (London) \n Permanent \n £55k - £62k \n \n A small architectural practice is seeking a talented Associate Architect to join their growing central London studio. This rare Senior opportunity is ideal for someone with strong residential and technical experience, particularly in managing large-scale residential and mixed-use developments. Looking to take a leadership role, in a team of 10 people, working only under the Director.

\n \n As an Associate Architect, you will play a key role in the technical design of projects, with a focus on developing tender packages and HSE Gateway Two information. You'll work closely with the senior leadership team to: \n \n Lead the delivery of high-quality, design-focused architecture. \n \n Manage projects and develop packages for RIBA Stage 4.

\n \n Lead and deliver Gateway Two projects. \n \n Coordinate with clients, consultants, and local authorities. \n \n Oversee and mentor project teams, ensuring smooth project delivery, quality control, and project management.

\n\nThis award-winning practice specialises in residential mixed-use developments, with a portfolio that spans large-scale schemes of (Apply online only) units, as well as some smaller one-off town houses. They pride themselves on fostering a collaborative working environment, working closely with clients and local authorities. \n \n The team is dedicated to creating an enriching workplace culture, with a strong focus on design excellence and professional development.

\n \n Key Requirements: \n \n Minimum 10 years of post-Part 3 experience. \n \n Proven experience in UK residential design and delivery. \n \n Strong technical expertise and excellent Revit skills.

\n \n Experience managing teams and leading client relationships. \n \n In-depth knowledge of UK planning and building regulations. \n \n Experience coordinating large-scale residential schemes (typically (Apply online only) units), across all RIBA stages.

\n \n Excellent communication skills.. \n\nThis role is fully office based, with some flexibility on working hours, an early finish on Fridays, and a cycle-to-work scheme, alongside opportunities for site visits and educational trips.
