Job Description
My client, a developer is looking to bring on a new SM for a new phase of a multi-phased scheme in Stevenage. \n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ASM/No2 looking to take their first step into a Site Manager role whist still having the support of an experienced Project Manager.\n\nIf you have experience of working as part of a full site team on large scale new build housing projects please apply of reach out for a confidential chat\n\nSM, working with a PM on a traditional build scheme, \n\t\nSupporting the day to day running of the scheme\n\t\nProviding clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets\n\t\nWill work towards looking after more schemes for the business\n\t\nManaging the day to day operation from pilling - foundation to completion, and the critical paths for labour, materials and plant, including material lead times\n\t\nEnsuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme\n\t\nProviding accurate and regular reports on progress and dates\n\t\nControlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure\n\t\nDriving through quality at every stage of the construction process\n\t\nEnsuring the development pass internal and external inspection processes\n\t\nEnsuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to\n\t\nTaking responsibility for self-development and the development of others\n\t\nMonitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractors\n\t\nLABC inspections\n\t\nEnsuring customer service always remains of the highest priority with everyone on site\n\nQualifications,\n\nExperience of working on large, high volume traditional build projects\n\t\nMust have new build housing experience\n\t\nExperience of being either a SM, No2 or Experienced ASM\n\t\nExperience of being part of a NHBC/LABC Award winning team\n\t\nWorking as part of a full production team\n\t\nCSCS,\n\t\nFirst Aid\n\t\nScaffold awareness\n\nBenefits:\n\nCompetitive pay\n\t\nFuel Allowance\n\t\nHoliday\n\t\nHealthcare\n\t\nBonus structure\n\t\nCompany car/car allowance can be discussed
