About the Role\n\nWe are working with a leading house builder seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a flagship residential development in Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-respected company known for delivering high-quality homes and creating thriving communities.\n\nReporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Support the Site Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising all site activities.\n\n * \n\n Ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.\n\n * \n\n Monitor subcontractor performance and progress, addressing any issues promptly.\n\n * \n\n Carry out regular quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and drawings.\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate site records and ensure all relevant paperwork is completed.\n\n * \n\n Assist in managing health and safety on site in line with company policy and legislation.\n\n * \n\n Contribute to delivering an exceptional customer experience for home buyers.\n\nAbout You\n\n * \n\n Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or in a similar role within residential construction.\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and building regulations.\n\n * \n\n Excellent organisational and communication skills.\n\n * \n\n Ability to work well under pressure and problem-solve effectively.\n\n * \n\n SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work qualifications (or equivalent).\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary and benefits package.\n\n * \n\n Career progression with a respected house builder.\n\n * \n\n Ongoing training and development opportunities.\n\n * \n\n A supportive team environment and the chance to work on a high-profile project in Swindon.\n\nIf you’re passionate about delivering quality homes and want to develop your career with one of the UK’s leading house builders, we’d love to hear from you
