Assistant Resident Engineer

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Resident Engineer in overseeing daytoday construction activities and project progress.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is performed in accordance with project specifications and schedules.
• Monitor construction methods materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress reports.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders including consultants contractors and local authorities to resolve technical issues and site challenges.
• Review and approve construction shop drawings method statements and material submittals.
• Monitor quality control procedures and ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
• Assist in reviewing contractor claims variations and progress payments.
• Support the Resident Engineer in preparing project documentation reports and correspondence.
• Attend project and coordination meetings as required.

Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction supervision preferably within PMC or largescale infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and industry standards.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
• Excellent communication leadership and problemsolving skills.
• Experience in Landscape and infrastructure projects.
