Ivy Resource Group are working with a leading contractor to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role based in Wolverhampton. You will be supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of commercial projects including schools, hospitals, MOD bases, colleges, universities, and leisure centres.

The Role:

Supporting the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account
\n
- \n
Assisting with cost planning, procurement, valuations, variations, and cost reporting
\n
- \n
Supporting subcontractor procurement, administration, and payment processes
\n
- \n
Assisting with forecasting and monitoring project budgets
\n
- \n
Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers, and Senior Quantity Surveyors to ensure commercial and contractual compliance
\n
- \n
Maintaining accurate commercial records and assisting with monthly reporting
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
The Ideal Candidate:
\n
- \n
- \n
Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Trainee Quantity Surveyor within a commercial construction environment
\n
- \n
Exposure to projects within education, healthcare, MOD, or leisure sectors is advantageous
\n
- \n
Experience working with a main contractor or Tier 1 contractor is desirable
\n
- \n
Strong numerical, organisational, and communication skills
\n
- \n
Keen to develop and progress towards Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor level
\n

Salary & Package:

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
\n
