About the Role:\nWe’re currently seeking a Temporary Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 residential developer on a live housing project in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience with one of the UK’s most respected names in residential construction.\n\n Key Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Assisting with measurement, valuations, and subcontractor account management\n\n * \n\n Supporting the preparation of cost reports, procurement schedules, and budgets\n\n * \n\n Helping to monitor costs and assist with monthly CVRs\n\n * \n\n Ensuring compliance with internal commercial procedures\n\n * \n\n Collaborating with site teams, commercial leads, and subcontractors\n\n✅ Requirements:\n\n * \n\n HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field\n\n * \n\n 6–12 months industry experience (placement year or post-grad considered)\n\n * \n\n ️ Understanding of residential construction processes and JCT contracts\n\n * \n\n ️ Strong communication & organisation skills\n\n * \n\n Immediate or short-notice availability \n\n⏳ Duration:\n3–6 months with potential to extend\n\n Why Join?\n\n * \n\n Join a top-tier developer delivering high-quality housing schemes\n\n * \n\n Gain valuable residential QS experience in a live site environment\n\n * \n\n Work alongside a supportive and experienced commercial team
