Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Southampton, SO14

A Assistant Quantity Surveyor is required for a fit-out project, based in Southampton. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a building and construction project.



Assistant Quantity Surveyor - fit out responsibilities:



Assist in cost estimations

Be able to handle budget management

Ensure the project stays on track within budget

Prepare regular financial reports

Managing relationships with subcontractors

Communicating with clients and other stakeholders

Identify and access potential risks

Maintain accurate records of project costs, budgets and contracts



Requirements for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor role:



Ability to analyze data and identify trends in project costs

Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors and other team members

Identify and resolve commercial and contractual issues

Have good knowledge of Construction principles, Quantity Surveying techniques

Have the ability to work relevant software - Technical skills

Must be organised

Have good attention to detail

Previously worked on Fit Out projects

Ability to work in a fast paced environment
