We’re recruiting a Junior Assistant Quantity Surveyor for an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction and commercial management. This is your chance to learn from experienced professionals, work on diverse projects, and build the foundations for a rewarding career. 



The Role



Exciting opportunity for a Junior Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a leading construction and fit-out organisation. This role is perfect for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in quantity surveying and commercial management. As the Junior Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will work alongside experienced quantity surveyors, you will be involved in cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting on a variety of projects.



Key Responsibilities



Assisting with cost estimation, budget preparation, and tender submissions

Supporting the preparation of valuations, payments, and final accounts

Assisting with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers

Maintaining accurate project records and reports

Learning to interpret drawings, contracts, and specifications

Supporting senior team members in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

About You 



Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related subject (or due to graduate this year)

Enthusiastic and eager to learn with a genuine interest in construction and quantity surveying

Strong numeracy and analytical skills

Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Confident communication and interpersonal skills

IT literate (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Full UK driving licence
