With a healthy pipeline of projects across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, they are now seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.\n\nRole & Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Support the commercial team in managing costs across residential developments.\n\n * \n\n Assist with preparing estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.\n\n * \n\n Help with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, including contract administration.\n\n * \n\n Monitor costs, variations, and valuations under the guidance of senior QS staff.\n\n * \n\n Work closely with site and project teams to ensure commercial efficiency.\n\n * \n\n Gain exposure to full project lifecycles, with training and mentoring provided.\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Previous experience as a Trainee/Assistant QS, ideally within the housebuilding or residential construction sector.\n\n * \n\n Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.\n\n * \n\n Keen to learn, with a proactive and positive approach.\n\n * \n\n Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent qualification/experience) desirable but not essential.\n\n * \n\n Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to progress your career with a respected, successful housebuilder.\n\n * \n\n Hands-on training and mentoring from experienced Quantity Surveyors.\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary and benefits package.\n\n * \n\n Long-term prospects within a stable and growing business
