Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for an established and reputable Build Contractor based in Stoke.



This role will suit a career driven individual who is looking to gain further experience working alongside a commercial lead. Someone who is looking to take on further development and work hard to drive their career. Ideal candidates will have worked within a main contractor or subcontractor setting in the construction industry working in a similar position within the commercial team.



Duties Will Include:



Assist in the management of contract cost reporting

Assist in the preparation of cash flow forecasts for sub contractor payments

Assist in the preparation of accurate forecasts for project costs to completion and final value

Obtain quotations, check for compliance and place orders for any sub contact work

Prepare payment certificates for sub contract work

Submitting monthly valuations, variations, remeasures and notices in accordance with contract timelines.

Assist in the preparation of accurate monthly cost reports

Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the course of each contract



Essential Requirements



Relevant Quantity Surveying Qualification (HND/Degree)

At least two years of experience within the the construction sector

Excellent computer skills

Full UK driving licence

CSCS card
