Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Residential Developer



Salary – Up to £40,000 (Depending on Experience) + Car Allowance, Pension, Healthcare



Location: Bury St Edmunds

About the Role:



My client is currently looking for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team. The site team will consist of a Lead and Project surveyor to assist you with day-to-day duties, you will also be expected to be able to manage a variety of your own packages. This is a career enhancing project that will add real value to your CV and experience moving into more senior positions later on in your career.



* Duties to include but not be limited to;



* Assisting with calculating take-offs



* Assisting with the procurement of materials/subcontractors



* Assisting with preparing BOQs /estimating



* Assisting with the management of Subcontracts – valuation, variations etc.



* Assisting with the preparation of monthly reports and reconciliations



Candidate Requirements:



Must have a minimum of roughly 2 years Quantity Surveying experience



Ideally have worked for a Developer, would consider other sectors



Must have a relevant qualification



Must be able to demonstrate job loyalty
