Assistant Project Manager – Commercial Construction

We are partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join its growing team in Phoenix, Arizona. Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects.
  • \n

  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
  • \n

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, owners, and field teams.
  • \n

  • Track project schedules, budgets, procurement, and material deliveries.
  • \n

  • Help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • \n

  • Review project drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
  • \n

  • Support buyout activities, contract administration, and closeout documentation.
  • \n

  • Maintain organized project files and provide regular project updates.
  • \n

  • Promote a safe, professional, and team-oriented jobsite environment.
  • \n

Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field .
  • \n

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial construction as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Project Coordinator.
  • \n

  • Experience with commercial tenant improvements, renovations, or ground-up construction is .
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, and project administration.
  • \n

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software is a plus.
  • \n

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • \n

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
