- Support Project Planning & Execution: Assist the Project Manager with budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and resource planning.
- Electrical Scope Management: Oversee low‑ and medium‑voltage installations, cable tray and conduit systems, MCC/transformer/generator integration, medium‑voltage gear, UPS systems, and PLC/instrumentation installations in compliance with project specifications.
- Safety & Quality Control: Monitor on‑site adherence to safety protocols (e.g., electrical lockout/tagout, PPE, job hazard analysis) and quality standards.
- Coordination: Facilitate close coordination with engineering teams, field foremen, vendors (e.g. Eaton, Allen‑Bradley), and client/site team.
- Document Tracking: Manage RFIs, submittals, punchlists, request-for-purchase orders (RFPs), and maintain site logs and change orders.
- Reporting & Progress Monitoring: Track labor productivity, schedule milestones, cost forecasts, and assist in weekly reporting.
- Site Visits: Attend site walkthroughs, do daily inspections, and help resolve installation issues in real time.
- Tool & Software Use: Use Microsoft Office, scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera / Timberline / Procore), and electrical estimation software.
- Client Communication: Participate in coordination meetings and maintain alignment on deliverables, safety, and sequencing.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Construction Management, or equivalent; or a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in electrical construction.
- Experience: 3-5 years of construction management or APM-level work—preferably in heavy industrial, oil & gas, LNG, or petrochemical environments.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with medium-voltage electrical equipment, motor control centers, UPS, instrumentation, PLC/SCADA systems, cable installation, and electrical drawings.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and analytical abilities; able to juggle multiple tasks with composure and professionalism.
- Safety Credentials: OSHA 10 or 30, ET&D or similar, plus any required site-specific certification (e.g. H2S, confined‑space, fire watch).
- Tools Knowledge and mechanical/electrical experience is a must
Salary: 65,000-80,000 annually
