We are looking for a Assistant Project Manager I (APM I) to support our project teams. This is an entry-level role that does not require an engineering degree but does require strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn and work on exciting, fast-paced projects.
Assistant Project Manager I (APM I) – Studio 151
Role Overview
The APM I supports the Project Manager in coordinating engineering, estimating, procurement, project controls, and construction activities throughout project development and execution. This role may support multiple projects concurrently and contribute to proposals or rotations with operational groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate design, estimating, procurement, and construction tasks across project phases
- Assist with project schedules, reporting, and monthly reviews
- Support value engineering, constructability reviews, and subcontract/vendor scope development
- Work with Safety on project-specific safety plans and incident reporting
- Manage RFI submittals, purchase orders, subcontract packages, and closeout documentation
- Monitor overall project progress and facilitate lessons learned
- Act as PM when required and qualified
Experience
- Understanding of design-build delivery
- Experience working with mechanical and electrical subcontractors
- Familiarity with estimating, scheduling, and project management software, Procore etc
Skills
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving ability
- Effective communicator and collaborative team player
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management systems
