Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the Project Manager and project executive team on a large commercial construction site. The APM will assist with all aspects of construction management, including project coordination, subcontractor support, documentation control, and daily field oversight.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with daily project operations and site coordination
- Help manage and update construction schedules, bid leveling sheets, and procurement logs
- Support all communication with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
- Perform material tracking, delivery confirmations, and follow-ups on outstanding orders
- Help monitor jobsite quality control and ensure adherence to Nexgen standards
- Maintain and file daily job logs, photos, inspection reports, and RFIs
- Schedule and participate in project meetings, taking and distributing meeting minutes
- Track open issues and follow up on action items across stakeholders
- Ensure proper sequencing and inspections are completed by trades
- Assist in managing permitting, approvals, and inspection logistics
- Review subcontractor invoices and coordinate documentation for payment processing
- Attend walkthroughs, inspections, and contribute to punch list documentation
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to prepare weekly reports and updates for internal teams
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in commercial construction or construction management
- Working knowledge of construction plans, trade coordination, and site logistics
- Experience with Procore or similar construction/project management software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
