Our long-tenured client, a NJ based leader in the industrial real estate space, is searching for an Assistant Project Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing multiple construction projects at once.
• Participating in design-build project planning.
• Overseeing project design team.
• Managing construction and closeouts.
• Coordinating project bidding efforts, generating scopes of work, and identifying long lead time items.
• Preparing contracts for subcontractors.
• Preparing change orders.
• Monitoring, reviewing, and controlling project costs.
• Participating in obtaining local municipality approvals.
• Compliance with all required regulations.

YOU might be the RIGHT person if YOU have:

• 3-5 years construction experience on industrial/commercial buildings including project management, construction, civil engineering, or related experience including construction inspection work and supervision of construction projects.

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Engineering or Construction Management or Project Management

Software Skills Including: Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word

• Must be able to travel to job site locations as needed
• Must have general building construction experience from footings through MEP, all aspects of site work, demolition and retrofitting of facilities.
• Experience with parking lots, paving, road widening, sidewalks and curbing work.

Our client offers:

• Base salary between $65,000 and $90,000
• Bonus eligibility
