Assistant Project Manager – Chicago, IL
$70,000 - $80,000 + exceptional benefits, PTO, 401K, etc.

Our current opening for an Assistant Project Manager is to assist in the successful execution of our construction projects, playing a supportive role to our Project Managers. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, specifically within project management and related accounting duties within large scale commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and assist with project billing, plans, ensuring alignment with client expectations, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate and manage project invoicing, including labor, materials, and subcontractors, to maintain efficiency and productivity.
- Track each project’s progress, identify and resolve potential roadblocks to ensure on-time delivery.
- Facilitate clear communication across internal teams, managers, and clients, to maintain alignment and transparency.
- Analyze project budgets, monitoring costs and adjusting as needed to maximize profitability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience working in a similar role (project coordinator, construction administrator) within construction, preferably in accounting.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
