Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Project Manager required for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in The United Kingdom\n\nResponsibilities \n\nManage and schedule internal resources as well as internal and external individuals to ensure project deliverables meet time, quality, and expectations. \nPrepare project reports and deliverables. Facilitate and lead regular status meetings with the project team, sponsors, and stakeholders.

\nEngage with the Project Control function to review schedule, risk register, and document completion KPIs.\nWork with a multi-disciplinary team to identify project risks, barriers, and issues and propose possible solutions and mitigation strategies. \nEnsure the use of best practices and apply lessons learned from previous projects. \nProactively identify the needs for each engineering package and propose/implement fit-for-purpose solutions.

\nPrepare proposals detailing a scope of work, team, budget and schedule for completion to satisfy engineering and procurement strategy. \nReviewing Quality documentation for the project, authoring where required. \nCoordinate and interface with all members of the JV as necessary in support of the organisation's objectives.

\nEnsure interfaces with other packages, contractors, and stakeholders are identified and appropriately managed. \nEnsure requirements in terms of Quality and HSE are met. \nInternal reporting as required.

\nParticipation in project team meetings and cross-disciplinary co-operation. Requirements\n\nBe degree educated in engineering or a related field with reasonable experience\nBe chartered or working towards chartered status. \nExcellent organisation skills with the ability to manage own workload, meet timescales and coordinate both external and internal stakeholders.

\nHave strong relationship management skills. \nHave highly transferable skills from a related industry (for those without offshore wind experience). \nGood written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

\nThe technical skills to understand complex offshore operations and the ability to exchange with and understand subject experts
