What You'll Do

As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll support a Project Manager across all phases of construction while learning the ins and outs of managing high-end residential projects. You'll gradually take ownership of key tasks with the goal of becoming a stand-alone PM in the future.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Attending client meetings and assisting with bid preparations
• Securing permits and ensuring all closeout documentation is completed, including Certificates of Occupancy
• Supporting the creation and maintenance of project schedules, including "mini-deadlines" for key milestones (e.g., framing, MEP, drywall, cabinetry, etc.)
• Organizing and filing all project documentation in shared drives according to company standards
• Assisting with labor planning and reviewing schedules with internal carpenters and subcontractors
• Helping identify, submit, and track Change Orders and Non-Standard (NS) work
• Approving and coding project-specific invoices
• Managing jobsite logistics-parking, cleanliness, signage, and daily security
• Maintaining detailed daily logs and communicating key updates with clients and the leadership team
• Learning and reinforcing Huseby Homes' operational roles-PM, Superintendent, Lead Carpenter, and Carpenter
• Supporting a culture of accountability, organization, and excellence on the jobsite

We're hiring someone who is early in their professional project management career-either fresh from a field leadership role or with some experience in project coordination in residential construction. You're a strong fit if you are:

• Detail-oriented and naturally organized
• Hungry to learn and take initiative
• A clear communicator (both written and verbal)
• Comfortable with tech tools and digital organization
• Able to handle jobsite problem-solving in real-time
• Professional, respectful, and committed to high standards of quality
