Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team in the successful planning and execution of field operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including permit submittals, delineating pothole locations in the field, calling in Dig Alert tickets, and preparing CAD backgrounds for traffic control plans. This role will also assist Project Managers with various administrative and coordination tasks as needed to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Duties: Prepare and submit permit applications to various agencies and jurisdictions. Delineate pothole locations in the field on various sites. Call in DigAlert tickets and ensure proper utility notification prior to excavation. Draft and update CAD backgrounds to support the development of traffic control plans. Coordinate with agencies, subcontractors, and internal teams to track permit and DigAlert statuses. Assist Project Managers with scheduling, document control, and general project support tasks. Maintain organized project files and logs for permit and utility coordination activities. Ensure all tasks are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company and client standards
