You could be the right fit for our production department as the Assistant Project Manager!

This exciting position requires high energy and is the backbone of our production department. It supports the Project Managers in various stages of the reconstruction process, including permitting, acquiring bids from and scheduling sub-contractors and technicians on jobs and speaking with customers. You help resolve day-to-day problems, maintain schedules and budgets and be the constant contact back at the office while the Project Managers are out in the field.

Basic construction knowledge and experience with construction materials is required.

Daily activities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Receive all approved jobs for production, review scope of work and ensure all paperwork is in place to create efficiency before assigning Project Manager
  • Schedule in house technicians or subcontractors as needed
  • Make sure job information in management software is correct and up to date
  • Review weekly reports to monitor Project Manager workload and job progress.
  • Work with accounting on subcontractor invoice accuracy and timeliness
  • Work with third party claim programs on administrative requirements
  • Received POs from Project Managers, match to scope of work to ensure accuracy before submitting to the warehouse to be filled
  • Ensure there are accurate photos and job documentation from Project Manager and technicians on each job
  • Attend weekly and bi-weekly meetings about job progress.
  • Liaise with different departments to improve work efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Construction experience and knowledge of construction materials
  • You are a high energy go getter who embraces teamwork
  • Organized and proactive with the ability to work with little supervision
  • Experience with computers, mobile apps and other technology
  • Must have exceptional communication skills with internal and external customers
  • Maintain attention to detail and follow through on all tasks
  • Knowledge of industry and market trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional analytical skills to sift through high volumes of data and information

Full-time Employees Receive:

  • Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, 401K with match.
  • PTO, Sick Time and Paid Holidays after 90 days of service
  • Salary range $55,000-$65,000 based on experience

This is a full-time, Monday – Friday, 7am-4pm position with future advancement potential for the right hardworking individual. Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
