Project Manager in Miami. This role is ideal for a highly organized, solutions-driven individual who thrives in both field and office environments and is ready to support high-volume, complex landscape installation projects across South Florida.

Work where others vacation: Based in vibrant Miami, this commercial landscape company leads high-end installation projects throughout South Florida. With a solid backlog of work and a growing team, they're looking for someone detail-oriented, adaptable, and tech-savvy to help drive projects forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the project manager with submittals, RFIs, transmittals, and document control
  • Assist in estimating, budget revisions, and change orders
  • Coordinate permits, locates, MOT plans, and project-specific requirements
  • Track production costs and support cost-saving strategies
  • Help with schedule of values, pencil pay applications, and close-out packages
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, progress tracking, and meeting minutes
  • Attend job site meetings and communicate with general contractors and subs
  • Ensure proper materials are installed per plans/specs
  • Support purchasing, scheduling, and direct owner requirements (e.g., OCIP)
  • Respond to project communications in a timely, professional manner

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in landscape construction or related commercial construction
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with project scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable with both field and office environments
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Experience working with permits and city documentation
  • Clean driving record
  • Industry knowledge or horticulture certifications (e.g., FNGLA) a plus
