Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assists with planning, coordination, and direction of project management activities to ensure alignment with owner specifications, budgets, and timelines from initial planning through construction closeout

Performs a wide range of technical and administrative duties, especially related to drawings management, document management, and construction support

May supervise office/field administrative staff, project engineers, or field engineers
Key Responsibilities:

Assists the Project Manager in developing project-specific procedures, documentation, and A/E systems

Reviews contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications for compliance
-
Manages and tracks data, information, and communications between owners, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders

Supports management of project controls, cost performance, logistics, organization, and closeout procedures

Participates in project meetings, handling documentation and status tracking
-
May coordinate with construction management staff, contractors, and consultants

Assists in the receipt, distribution, and maintenance of drawings, including posting RFIs and design notices

Updates and maintains drawing/specification sets and related logs
-
Maintains project documentation systems and drawing repositories
-
Manages document distribution and logging
-
Supports the RFI process and maintains related tracking systems
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture (or equivalent relevant experience)
-
5+ years of construction management experience, with a focus on aviation projects (e.g., terminals, runways, airside/landside infrastructure)
-
Proven experience managing complex aviation or transportation construction projects

Ability to work in high-security, fast-paced airport environments

Proactive and results-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach

Strong communication skills (verbal and written), capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Broad knowledge of design, construction management, and regulatory agency coordination (e.g., FAA, TSA)

Experience with multidisciplinary project teams (architects, engineers, contractors, airport ops personnel)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with tools like Prolog, Primavera P6, and airport-specific software
-
Experience with Design-Build, CM-at-Risk, or Progressive Design-Build delivery methods ()
-
Professional certifications such as CCM, PMP, or EIT are highly desirable
-
California PE license is a plus
