ABR Employment Services is hiring for a client company seeking a results-driven Assistant Plant Manager to lead the daily operations of a growing food production facility in Ripon, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity with long-term career potential.

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Plant Manager with a strong background in food manufacturing to oversee production processes, drive efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring alignment with production goals and safety regulations

• Manage production schedules, processes, and staff to meet customer demand and operational targets

• Develop and refine policies to optimize workflows and uphold quality standards

• Analyze production metrics and implement solutions for performance improvements

• Lead, mentor, and motivate production team members to foster a positive and high-performing culture

• Partner with quality assurance to ensure product standards and regulatory compliance

• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods to support production continuity

• Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams for efficient material flow and on-time deliveries

• Conduct audits to maintain compliance with safety and operational guidelines

• Provide regular performance updates to senior leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

• 5+ years of management experience in food manufacturing

• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality systems

• Proven leadership and team development skills

• Proficiency with production management tools and reporting software

• Excellent decision-making, communication, and problem-solving abilities
