Job DescriptionJob Description

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for:

  • Inventory Management: Purchase and control all event dry good and ancillary event supplies.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain in good condition the fleet vehicles and all catering equipment.
  • Staff Supervision : Recruit and direct part-time event staff. Orient and train new employees in the Scoops exceptional customer service method.
  • Logistics: Working with our Sales Event Planners, manage & organize the daily event supplies ensuring that our customer’s expectations are exceeded. This includes coordinating with the night team in prep for the following day.
  • Customer Service: Directly interact with corporate customers to ensure exceptional product delivery.
  • Product Development & Production: Work with Sales to develop new customer offerings. Produce ancillary products like baked goods and custom popcorn in our commercial kitchen.
