Position Overview
The Assistant Operations Manager plays a critical role in the success of our day-to-day operations. This person will oversee multiple teams, ensure consistent execution of our food quality standards, and embody our mission at every level of service. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role is ideal for someone with a heart for leadership, an eye for operational detail, and a passion for helping people thrive in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across Meridian and Eagle locations, ensuring efficiency and high performance.
- Maintain and elevate food quality standards and consistency in every product served.
- Support staff management including scheduling, training, and coaching team members.
- Act as a mentor to younger team members—fostering growth, accountability, and mission alignment.
- Ensure execution aligns with company values and customer experience expectations.
- Collaborate with upper management to implement improvements in systems and processes.
- Utilize tools such as Google Docs, Clover POS, and Till for operations tracking, reporting, and coordination.
- Address customer concerns with professionalism and care, modeling our service ethos.
- Step in to support blending and prep teams during peak times when needed.
- Must be available to work 28-35 hours each week.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree required; continued education or certifications in management, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in food service or retail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to connect, motivate, and lead with empathy and integrity.
- Working knowledge of Google Docs, Clover POS, and Till systems.
- A hands-on leader who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves and lead by example.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations (Meridian and Eagle).
