Job DescriptionJob Description

The Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of maintenance repair tasks. Focusing on developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, project management of electrical and mechanical projects, CMMS management, safety compliance, troubleshooting training, and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze breakdowns for Root Cause Failures.
• Design and Implement Solutions for Root Cause Failures.
• Design and Implement PM Procedures to eliminate Machinery Failures
• Evaluate and Upgrade Current Maintenance PM Program
• Offer Technical Expertise to Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians
• Work with Contractors on Mechanical and Electrical Projects
• Perform and Supervise Maintenance Mechanical Projects and Repairs
• Perform Equipment and Process Troubleshooting to Resolve Issues
• Provide Input for the Maintenance Budget

Qualifications or Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Maintenance or Related Field
• 2-5 years experience working in a Production Plant
• Automation, PLC, Robotics Background
• Strong Electrical Background
• Experience using CAD Software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, or Similar
• Knowledge of Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and other Mechanical Engineering Concepts
• Boiler, Steam, Air Compressor, and other Utility Background a plus
• Exceptional Technical and Problem Solving Skills
• Ability to Communicate effectively and clearly
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, Word, PPT, Etc.
