About the Role:

The Assistant Maintenance Chief plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of manufacturing equipment and facilities. Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Maintenance Chief in planning and executing maintenance schedules for all manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of machinery to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
• Train and supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols.
• Repair items at floor and ceiling level.
• Ability to work in non climate controlled environment.
• Move equipment in need of repair.
