Assistant Engineer (Civil / Structural / Geotechnical)

The Vacancy Job DescriptionTo be responsible for the quality of the Organisation’s Products and Processes and for complying with the requirements of the Organisation’s Quality Management System.Collecting data for studies and design.Carrying out engineering calculations for studies and design.Preparing sketches based on the results of his studies and design.Checking drawings produced by draughtsmen ensuring the drawings to be in accordance with the studies and design.Assisting preparation of project programmes.Assisting preparation of Bill of Quantities and taking-off quantities.Assisting estimation of cost of works.Drafting reports on the finding of studies.Drafting correspondence on matter in relation to data collection, design, contract administration and coordination with various parties.Assisting site inspection and supervision outside office.(The above are subject to changes from time to time as decided by the company).RequirementsFresh graduate with degree or equivalent in Civil/ Structural/ Geotechnical Engineering or related disciplinesGood command of both written and spoken Chinese and EnglishWell versed in MS Office applicationsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAble to work efficiently under pressureKnowledge / Experience in projects relating water / wastewater treatment plant, pumping stations, service reservoirs and pipelines would be an advantageWe offer:Scheme “A” Training accredited by HKIE About Us We develop intelligent solutions using our award-winning integrated planning and design approach to deliver functional infrastructure and lasting environmental and social legacies.
