Job DescriptionJob Description
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Design Project Manager to support the coordination, documentation, and execution of design projects from concept through completion. This role plays a key part in managing design workflows, facilitating communication between internal teams and external consultants, and maintaining organized, accurate project documentation.
Responsibilities:

Assist in coordinating design documentation, permitting activities, and project schedules

Support due diligence efforts by compiling reports, plans, and supporting data for new developments

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to track deliverables and resolve design-related issues

Review design drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and consistency across disciplines

Maintain organized project files, design revisions, and correspondence for effective document control
-
Track and coordinate materials and design components sourced from international vendors

Prepare project updates, meeting notes, and action items to ensure accountability and progress tracking

Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and cost documentation

Facilitate communication between design, construction, and procurement teams to align project objectives
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, Construction Management, or a related field

2–3 years of experience in design coordination, project management support, or permitting
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or Adobe Creative Suite a plus

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities

Bilingual in English and Mandarin
