We are looking for an Assets & Materials Management Coordinator to join our Cell & Gene Therapies team.

Title: CTC Assets & Materials Management Coordinator

Salary: £28,500 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)

Location: Anthony Nolan Cell Therapy Centre (CTC), Nottingham

The Cell Therapy Centre (CTC) is a hub for the processing, storage and distribution of stem cells from both umbilical cord blood and from adult haematopoietic progenitor cells. These cells are used as part of the treatment process for those suffering from blood cancers as well as in research for potential future therapies.

The Assets & Materials Management Coordinator will have a key role in making sure the site has all the required materials to run smoothly, as well as ensuring the equipment on site is maintained to the required standards. This role is crucial to keep the Cell Therapy Centre running uninterrupted.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the ordering, booking in and organisation of stock on site, as well as the dispatch of stock to collection sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage the calibration and servicing of equipment by liaising with contractors/suppliers.
  • Raise POs and goods receipts, performing regular stock checks and financial reporting.
  • Managing key relationships with suppliers and couriers, ensuring correct invoicing and timely payment.
  • Ensuring all supplier’s qualifications are up to date to meet regulatory standards.
  • Supporting other functions of the Operations team, including deputising for the Distribution Coordinator as needed.

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Proven organisational, record keeping and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures precisely.
  • Competent in the use of Word and Excel, and able to learn new IT systems.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the business and the unpredictability of clinical work.
  • Experience in supplies management/stores (desirable).
  • Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) experience (desirable).
