In this role, the successful candidate will support Radial Power’s end-to-end asset management operations for distributed solar and storage You’ll gain hands-on experience across all post-COD milestones — from commercial operations and performance monitoring to financial reconciliation, regulatory compliance, and investor reporting.


The Asset Management Analyst will report to the VP of Asset Management and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Customer Management. This is an ideal opportunity for someone curious, tech-savvy, and eager to understand how distributed energy projects perform, scale, and deliver long-term value.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead monthly revenue and incentive reconciliation, comparing actuals to forecasts, validating utility bills, community solar allocations and investigating discrepancies across REC, PPA, and PILOT payments — building foundational expertise in asset-level performance and financial oversight.
  • Track and manage core post-COD obligations, including PPAs, leases, REC registrations (e.g. GATS, NYGATS), PILOT agreements, and regulatory filings (e.g. PSC notices, EIA obligations). Ensure each asset remains in compliance and eligible for all revenue streams.
  • Support quarterly performance and compliance reporting for internal stakeholders and external investors, consolidating production data, commercial updates, and contractual milestones.
  • Manage Community Solar operations, including managing aggregators and anchor subscribers to ensure projects are subscribed and performing as expected
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Development, Legal, and Engineering teams during EPC-to-operations handoff, ensuring a smooth and complete transition of documentation, deliverables, and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with the Director of O&M to monitor production, outages, and maintenance status.
  • Communicate with Customer Management regarding key post-COD contract events, such as PTO notices, REC enrollment confirmations, and milestone deliverables tied to executed agreements.
  • Support automation and process improvements, using tools like SharePoint and Power Automate to streamline document tagging, reminders, and workflow efficiency.


Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in renewable energy, engineering, management, finance, economics, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in energy infrastructure, operations, compliance, project development, or asset management

  • Familiarity with automation and AI tools (e.g. Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms) and a willingness to explore new technologies to streamline workflows, improve compliance, and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Effective communicator, especially when coordinating across departments or with customers
  • Prior experience in clean energy or regulatory environments is a plus but not required — curiosity and a systems mindset are more important.
