This is a remote position.
Overview:
Join a growing engineering team that helps industrial clients optimize their compressed air systems for efficiency, reliability, and cost savings. This hands-on role blends fieldwork, data analysis, and technical design to identify performance improvements and present actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on-site assessments of industrial compressed air systems (supply and demand side).
- Collect and analyze data on system performance, energy use, and reliability.
- Identify and quantify opportunities for improvement and energy savings.
- Prepare and present detailed assessment reports and technical recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop schematic designs and system improvements.
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide excellent technical communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or an engineering-related role.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics and industrial system performance.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, and process flow diagrams.
- Experience with compressed air systems ; automation or controls a plus.
- Comfortable working in industrial environments and using tools/instrumentation.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- US Citizenship and valid driver’s license required.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (2–3 weeks/month).
