Assembly Technician
Mission of the Role
Processes assembly orders from start to finish using basic mechanical assembly and knowledge of Industrial Automation.
Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months to one year basic mechanical assembly experience required. Degree in Fluid Power or Robotics is .
Key Assembly Technician Accountabilities
- Assembles product per Hartfiel Automation job folders, which may include, but not limited to, control panel assembly, valve stacking, fitting installation, reading and pulling orders, labeling product, and testing product.
- Performs final test of finished assemblies.
- Works with sales teams in the development of new products.
- Participates in continual process improvement.
- Responsible for the safe use of basic shop tools and equipment. Responsible to keep work area clean and orderly.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Follows all quality processes and procedures as established by Hartfiel Automation.
- Operates within the intended framework of Hartfiel Automation’s mission, values, and vision statements.
- Must be able to sit or stand and lift up to 40 pounds infrequently.
- Must be able to operate hand tools and have complex levels of manual dexterity.

Normal shift is 8am - 5pm from Monday through Friday, with the option to work 7am - 5pm Monday through Thursday and 7am - 11am Fridays.
