Electrical Panel & Pneumatic Assembly Technician (Contract-to-Hire)

Position Summary

Seeking an Electrical Panel & Pneumatic Assembly Technician to support the assembly, testing, and installation of electrical control panels and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role supports production operations, customer orders, and cross-functional teams while ensuring quality, safety, and documentation standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and install electrical control panels.
  • Assemble electrical units to UL508A standards and specifications.
  • Build pneumatic assemblies according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
  • Assemble, test, label, and verify completed products prior to shipment or installation.
  • Maintain project documentation and complete required production paperwork.
  • Support equipment builds, installations, and customer projects as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Basic knowledge of shop equipment including cut-off saws, drill presses, grinders, tapping machines, and hand tools.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to pass required background and drug screenings.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education or related experience .
  • Previous experience in electrical assembly, panel building, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
  • Willingness to complete internal product and technical training.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to frequently lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and ladder use.
  • Ability to work in warehouse, manufacturing, and industrial environments with varying temperatures and conditions.

Work Environment

Work may take place in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, machine shops, customer sites, and office environments while supporting a variety of industrial applications and projects.
