Assembly Technician will work in our production area, assembling and testing high quality, high reliability electro-mechanical assemblies.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Conducts electrical and mechanical tests per applicable documents using mechanical and electronic test equipment.
• Requires use of various hand tools and fixtures.

· Able to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical test specifications, and other required build documentation.

• Complies with all Manufacturing processes and standards.
• Able to learn clean room standard and to work in clean room environment.
• Training as needed.
• Ensures compliance with the company quality system to maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience\Education:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing in an AS9100 and ISO9000 controlled environment preferred.
• Experience with a space-based application a plus.
• Electronic / Electromechanical product experience a definite plus.
• AA or AS degree preferred, High School Diploma or GED required.
• Cleanroom experience preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret operation sheets, routers, and blueprints.
• Fluent in English.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
• Ability to understand number conversion (ohms vs milliohms vs megaohms, etc.)

Physical Requirements:

• High level of dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
• Requires alertness and attentiveness as work is very meticulous.
• Stand, lift, pull, push, grasp, repetitive motions. Sit or stand for long periods of time. This is working onsite in an Industrial Manufacturing facility.
• Application of torque (rotational force).

· Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment.

· Requires inspection/deburring under microscope for long periods of time.

· Ability to work in clean room environment for long periods of time.

General Requirements:

• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
