Position: Assembly Machine Operator
Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $18.55/hr (2nd Shift)
Job Type: Temp
Job Summary
We are hiring Assembly Machine Operators to support our client’s manufacturing operations in Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for operating metal stamping presses and supporting assembly processes to ensure quality production and consistent output.
Responsibilities

Operate hand-operated metal stamping presses for assembly operations

Review job travelers and part drawings to produce accurate parts
-
Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and dimensions
-
Complete production paperwork, including tracking quantities and scrap
-
Move materials and finished parts using pallet jacks as needed
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 6S standards
-
Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures
-
Perform additional duties as assigned
Must Haves
-
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
-
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
-
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a production environment
-
Ability to follow safety and quality procedures consistently
-
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
-
Experience operating stamping presses or similar machinery
-
Familiarity with production reporting or job travelers
Skills
-
Experience in metal stamping or fabrication environments
-
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues

Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
-
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices
-
Forklift or pallet jack experience

Ability to read basic blueprints or technical drawings
-
Strong attention to detail and production accuracy mindset
