Summary:

The Advanced Assembler Wirer III plays a critical role in building high-reliability electronic assemblies through advanced wiring, soldering, and mechanical tasks. Working from detailed schematics and IPC standards, this position supports the production of complex systems that meet the company's quality and performance standards. The role reflects a high level of craftsmanship, precision, and expertise developed through hands-on experience.

Requirements

Read and interpret complex wiring diagrams, codes, prints and wire list.

Build harnesses of high complexity.

Utilizing a high degree of proficiency, wire and solder various components within circuits and chassis.

Perform mechanical assembly of high complexity chassis' and final assemblies.

Apply RTV, conformal coating, epoxy, and potting..

Occasionally employ basic knowledge of electrical theory and its application to basic wiring and testing using voltage and ohmmeters.

May be required to perform continuity checks and rework.

Ability to work to IPC Manufacturing Standards.

Assemble loads and backplanes.

Follow provided assembly drawings and schematics.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School or technical trade school graduate , or training in military service.

Minimum of five (5) years recent wiring experience.

IPC Certification .

Must be fluent in written English. Good interpersonal skills to work with various inter departmental personnel.

Other Skills and Abilities

Must be knowledgeable and able to utilize all assembly tools such as soldering irons, pliers, cutters, etc.
